Well, technically Phyl they don't make any noise, but people who live near bush often have possums living in their roof which scuttle across your ceiling very noisily at all hours of the night. :)
I was surprised to find one in the bottom of my garbage can last summer. It must have been surprised, too because it was playing dead. It d wouldn't budge. I didn't want to put the trash on top of it, so had to carry the can into the yard and roll it out.
We have a family of possums living in our roof… sounds like a herd of elephants some nights lol and screech! Boy can they screech when they are having a family rift!
Possums are noisy?!! What kind of sound do they make? These possums are adorable!
