Grade 1s made these cool shooting stars as part of a classroom integrated unit of work on outer space. I set up star shaped cookie cutters on a tray of silver glitter glue and asked students to stamp 3 or 4 stars onto one side of their black paper. When glitter glue was dry I showed them how to add curved lines for sweeping tails. They then had fun colouring the tails with chalk pastels.
