These shark sculptures were created by grade threes as part of a unit of work about the ocean. The basic body shape was built from a cardboard cylinder and a cone. Students made fins from templates I created, and after some research about different types of sharks and their characteristics, each child decided how to paint and decorate their shark.
They were pretty creepy when it got dark....
