These wreaths were made recently by Grade 3 students to commemorate Anzac Day.
We discussed the many different ceremonies and occasions at which wreaths are displayed to symbolize eternal life. Students traced round plates to draw a ring on their page and also drew leaves around the ring. Different tints and shades of green were mixed to paint the leaves and paper flowers were made and glued to the wreaths.
Oh, these are just so pretty! I almost didn't look at the post, because I wasn't sure I was interested in wreaths, but I'm glad I did since they are so lovely!
