The idea for this lesson came from my colleague Linda (thanks Linda!), who found them here at Artsonia.
Students
roll a thin slab of clay, create a leaf imprint by pressing a large
leaf into their clay and cutting around it. Some bent the edges to
create a more 3D effect. We then glazed in red and yellow. They were
really easy to make with our grade 2s and I was pretty impressed with
the display.
