Same Lesson...Now With Glitter!!!

 

Inspiration: Dutch post-impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh's (1853-1890) painting 'The Starry Night' (1889).





 I've done these 'Starry Nights' before (See HERE) before but I agreed to let these students add some glitter this time around. Sometimes the kids are right about glitter after all.

  1. yep! the glitter adds a little something special! i havn't done van gogh in a couple years...maybe it's time to dust off some lesson plans! thanks for the inspiration!

  5. These are really beautiful - I have done a few Starry Night projects (http://bluesparrowsart.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/van-gogh-in-city.html) but didn't think to add glitter - mental note for future projects!

  6. What did you use for the sky part of the reproductions? Would white construction paper with the blue dye wash work?
    - Not an art teacher, but teaching art (and all other subjects) in 4th grade
