Around Christmas time I showed grade ones how to make paper snowflakes. As it doesn't snow in Australia, paper snowflakes are about as close as it gets. To more closely reflect an Australian Christmas, I decided ours would be sunbursts rather than snowflakes.
I asked the children to trace a circle onto white paper and then paint their circle using warm colours like the sun. After folding and cutting we glued these onto black paper and added glitter.
I like these just as much as the traditional white snowflakes - what do you think?
Muy buenos trabajos! http://plasticaenla5del11.blogspot.com.ar/2014/04/lineas-en-el-espacio-5-tt.html
